Unboxing Dungeon Crate November 2024

Dungeon Crate is Grateful for RPGs and the Adventurers Who Play

November is a time of gratitude and we are always thankful for our adventurers. This month we wished them a whole month filled with friends and food plus a few famineborn ghouls just for fun. Like an RPG friendsgiving turkey, we stuffed the November Dungeon Crate with all sorts of tasty items. This month’s crate included a cornucopia of gameplay gear, fun loot, and original adventures that are sure to whet anyone’s appetite for adventure. So belly up to the game table and we’ll waddle through all the sweet treats we added into this month’s Dungeon Crate.

If you’re not a member already, we hope this unboxing entices you to join or gift a subscription!

Mystery Item by Norse Foundry in November Dungeon Crate

Our featured item for November comes from the veritable cornucopia of quality pieces available from Norse Foundry. You either got a rad D20 keychain or a single heavy-duty metal alloy D20. Luck of the dice roll decided which one you got. We’re big fans of the Norse Foundry team and know that whichever item you received, it was well-made with pride and will be a strong addition to your game style.

Blood Demon or Bone Devil Mini from Reaper Miniatures

In keeping with the cornucopia of fun, we included either a blood demon or bone devil mini figure. Both of these fierce creatures were sculpted by Bob Ridolfi and are part of the Bones Classic line of RPG miniatures. No priming is required on the detailed mini, it’s ready to paint up or play as-is.

More Minis in November’s Dungeon Crate

Just like mashed potatoes and gravy, you can never have enough minis. That’s why you got an extra one in this month’s crate. It might be an NPC, give main character vibes, or be of the monstrous persuasion. Whatever you get, your mini can be used in gameplay right out of the box or you can prime and paint it–the choice is yours.

Mushroom Mystery Bag, a Dungeon Crate Exclusive

What’s inside the wavy gravy ‘shroom bag? A mix of mini magical mushroom folk that glow in the dark. Use the ‘shroom folk when you play any evil mushroom-filled one-shot. Charge them fully under a strong lightbulb or sunlight and then shut off the lights and watch these little fungi glow.

Essential Gameplay Notepad, another Dungeon Crate Exclusive

These handy notepads help make RPG gameplay quick, easy, and fun. They are just the right size to be easily portable and are great for Game Masters and players alike. You got one of our original designs:

*Character Sheet: Quickly roll up characters with enough details to get you on your next adventure.

*Dungeon Mapper: Gridded to let you sketch your dungeons on the fly.

*Trap Tracker: Track your traps while adventuring.

*Magical Item Tracker: Keep track of all magic items you find while adventuring.

Gelatinous Cubes (Set of 2)

Squishy, colorful, and ready to leach the meat from your bones, these one-inch gelatinous cubes are ferociously fun. You got two translucent rubber cubes. Gameplay tip: place a cube over the mini so you can see the body through the translucent gel and then listen close to hear the muffled screams.

5E and Pathfinder Adventures Galore! Dungeon Crate Exclusives

Instead of just one original encounter this month, we doubled up and offered you two. Both adventures are exclusive to Dungeon Crate and written for DnD 5E or both 5E and Pathfinder 2! Regardless of the platform, with a few easy adjustments you can use these adventures to play nearly any fantasy RPG.

Bonus Items

Each month we add a little something extra into each crate. This month it was a little sprinkling of some items you might find in our Dungeon Confetti.

Access to the November 2024 Digital Dungeon Crate

We started our Digital Dungeon Crate several years ago because we knew that not everyone had the luxury of playing tabletop RPGs around a table. Since then, each month we give all members — whether they get the digital-only version or get the full physical crate — access to our fully loaded Digital Dungeon Crate. Downloads included a PDF of that month’s encounter, maps, and more.

Secret Code = 10% Off the Dungeon Crate Store

All members are emailed an access code for the Digital Dungeon Crate, which is also good for 10% off our online store, all month long. We’ve got all the good stuff in our online store. We offer a library of full-length adventures, one-shot encounters, traps, charts, and random room encounters. We also have a hoard of minis, a worthy collection of dice sets in all types and sizes, metal fantasy coins, smart game play tokens you’ll love to use, RPG and Rennie and LARPer lifestyle gear, and more. Many of our items are exclusive to Dungeon Crate. Members simply shop from the online store, enter that month’s secret code at check-out, and 10% rolls off their total. It’s just as easy as using a cantrip.
