Unboxing March 2024 Dungeon Crate
Find Out Why Dungeon Crate is the Best RPG Loot Crate
in This Unboxing of the March 2024 Crate
Welcome to the party, adventurer! We marched into madness this month here at Dungeon Crate, your friendly RPG loot crate. The March Dungeon Crate is filled with good luck and plenty of fun and useful RPG loot, including a lucky shot glass/dice roller, mega D20, bag o’ coins, super fun D20 chart, plus a new, original one-shot DnD 5E adventure and more.
Featured Item For March:
D20 Shot Glass / Dice Roller
Huzzah! A few drinks can turn a regular game night into a celebration. That’s why we added this fierce D20 & crossed swords shot glass into the March mix. This clear shot glass features an original Dungeon Crate design and holds the standard 1.75 fl. oz. Fill it with your favorite booze or concoction, take a shot to start the game, and maybe on every nat 1 or nat 20 too.
Not into drinking or too young for the hard stuff? This shooter works just as well with energy drinks or kombucha shots and can always be used as a lucky dice roller for your favorite D20.
Big Rolls Included With This 35MM Mega D20 from FanRoll Dice
Dungeon Crate members roll with BDE (big dice energy) when they use this massive 35mm D20 from FanRoll Dice. We figured folks could save this mega, well-balanced acrylic D20 for their most critical rolls or use it as a fun way to call forth initiative. Members got one of eight different D20 colors, some even glow in the dark.
Two Mystery Minis in Each March Dungeon Crate
Miniature figures are a big part of tabletop game play and you can never have too many. That’s why we added two unpainted mini figs into the March crates. We offered an assortment so members might have gotten an NPC, rat swarm, warrior, or something else. All are detailed sculpts and ready to paint or play as-is.
GP for Gameplay
This black velvet bag is filled with golden metal alloy coins that are detailed on the front and back. These coins are a great way to begin building a gameplay coin collection or to add into your existing riches.
Original One-Shot 5E Encounter — Dungeon Crate Exclusive
Our original one-shot this month was The Last Goo Slayed, a third level encounter written by Dungeon Doodles. While designed for DnD 5E, with a few modifications, you can use this short encounter to play nearly any fantasy RPG. While great as a stand-alone encounter, The Last Goo Slayed picks up right after Temple of the Ooze, which was in our February Dungeon Crate and available in our online shop or brick and mortar store in Omaha, Nebraska.
Here’s what adventurer’s are up against: As the group of villagers you recently freed make their exit from a cave, an old man hands your party a key and tells of a hidden door and great evil deep inside the cave. Is your party up to the challenge of ridding the world from this potential evil?
Perfect Encounter When Your Whole Group Can’t Meet
It’s not always easy to gather as a group to play but you don’t have to cancel the night just because one player out of your group can’t make it. Instead, break out this D20 Trap Chart Encounter by Wayne Brekke and invite your party to a dinner and a show at Iman Dihtilli’s Illusionarium. Here, dinner guests are treated to a live action adventure and players fight for their survival and (virtual) lives. Treat this D20 card as a one-shot encounter. It was written by our founder, Wayne Brekke, and is a great use for the mega D20 also included in the March Dungeon Crate!
Shady Shack Level 3 Random Room Encounter — Dungeon Crate Exclusive
Another quick-play encounter! Random room encounters are a fast and easy way to up the adventure in your game play. Add our random room encounters into your campaign to spice things up. A favorite tabletop RPG exclusive from Dungeon Crate! The rules are easy: enter the room, defeat the minions and the boss, and then grab the gold and go!
One-Inch Grid Water Tile is Another Dungeon Crate Exclusive
A one-inch grid pattern makes it easy to use this tile in any watery RPG encounter. One side of the full-color card shows water on a sunny day. Flip it over to reveal the same deep water scene at night.
Bonus Items in Each Dungeon Crate
Just for fun, each month we add a little something extra into each crate. We’re fans of RPG stickers and like to add in past encounters too for even more game play.
Get Access to the March 2024 Digital Dungeon Crate
Not everyone has the luxury of playing tabletop RPGs around a table. That’s why we started our Digital Dungeon Crate several years ago. Each month we give all members — whether they get the digital-only version or get the physical crate — access to our fully loaded Digital Dungeon Crate. Downloads included a PDF of that month’s encounter, maps, and more.
Score 10% Off the Dungeon Crate Store Using the Secret Code
The code we email to all members that access the Digital Dungeon Crate is also good for 10% off our online store, all month long! What do we have in our online store? All the good stuff! We offer a library of full-length adventures, one-shot encounters, traps, charts, and random room encounters. We also have a hoard of minis, a worthy collection of dice sets in all types and sizes, metal fantasy coins, smart gameplay tokens you’ll love to use, RPG and Rennie and LARPer lifestyle gear, and more. Many of our items are exclusive to Dungeon Crate. Members simply shop from the online store, enter that month’s secret code at check-out, and 10% rolls off their total. It’s just as easy as using a cantrip.
