Unboxing Dungeon Crate: March 2022

Thor’s Hammer Pewter Pendant with Steel Chain by Celtic Knot Works
We were super proud to feature this handcast fine pewter Thor’s Hammer pendant with stainless steel snake chain. The fine folks at Celtic Knot Works dream up original designs and handcraft them here in the U.S.A. That’s why this pendant and chain are striking to look at and comfortable to wear. The raised design has an antiqued background and is on both sides. The pendant measures 1.25 inches wide by 1.5 inches tall and the chain is 21 inches, making it a great length for men and women.
Thor's Hammer (Mjöllnir) is a symbol of protection and blessings. It was wielded by Thor in Norse mythology to protect Asgard from its enemies and is sure to get noticed when you wear it on the battlefield.
Dungeons & Dragons D20 Tin
This bright red and white D20 tin comes loaded with +1 cherry potion candies. We suggested using them to bribe the GM or share with other players. Once the candy is gone, the tin can be used to hold a lucky set of polyhedral dice or anything else you want to take with you to game days. We thought the tins would only work with mini sets of dice but it turns out a full sized set fits perfectly!
Miniature Figure - Reaper Miniatures
A mixed bag of minis this month meant it was a mystery what each member got, which we think is part of the fun. We’re big fans of Reaper’s detailed sculpts and how they take to paint. In fact, you don’t need to prime them, just paint the mini or play it straight from the box. Everybody loves minis!
Two Augmented Reality Cards by Ardent Roleplay
Not found in any other RPG crate! These 3D cards help fully immerse players into the game. We included simple instructions, which make it easy to bring the cards to 3D life. If you haven’t heard of them yet, check out Ardent Roleplay’s website. They’re doing some fun stuff with 3D. We created our one-shot, Just Another Shady Situation, with the 3D cards in mind but they’re also great for spicing up existing campaigns.

Dungeon Crate Exclusive - Just Another Shady Situation One-Shot by Wayne & Laurie Brekke
This original one-shot encounter, written by owners Wayne and Laurie Brekke, took adventurers back to the Shady Lady Tavern, located just off the Vine River in our world of Halcyon. The level three encounter is designed for 5E but can be easily modified for Pathfinder or other RPG platforms.
Here’s what the party is in for: The Shady Lady Tavern offers more than just a few rounds of ale. As the party starts celebrating their latest adventure, a new one appears, and they don’t have to leave the tavern to experience it.

This mysterious, wondrous item was torn from Halcyon’s Balderstone Mountain. Be warned: It’s hard to handle, even for practiced wizards. The illustrated card offers 5E stats and a full-color, original image. It works with March’s one-shot or any other fantasy RPG.
