Welcome to 2022!
January rolled around again and we spent it wishing you and yours a happy New Year, adventurer! Did the first days of 2022 find you thinking: what IS in a Dungeon Crate? Well, we’re happy to answer that question!
We’ve compiled a list for you to discover everything we put into the January 2022 crates. Of course there’s a wide variety of fun and useful RPG loot! We also included an original 5E one-shot with all our printed goodies PLUS brand new, kick a$$ augmented reality cards!
We are proud to announce that we’re the first to feature Ardent Roleplay 3D cards in our crates! Starting in January, each month we’re sending our members two more 3D AR cards to add to their collection. Join now so you don’t miss another set of 3D cards!
Two Augmented Reality Cards - Ardent Roleplay
These 3D cards are a way to fully immerse your players into the game! We added super simple instructions with the cards so members can easily bring them to 3D life. Please check out Ardent Roleplay’s website. We created our Cleric’s Cry one-shot with the 3D cards in mind so they’re a perfect addition to that encounter but they’re also great for spicing up any existing campaigns.
Gelatinous Cube Squeezie - Creature Curation
Look inside the colorful box to find a deadly foe made squeezable: a gelatinous cube! We love these squishy, slow-rise squeezies from Creature Curation. The gelatinous cube comes in nine different neon green designs, all super rad.
Miniature Figure - Reaper Miniatures
We got a variety of minis for this month’s crate. Members got one of the following: the Cultists with their creepy circle of stones, Stumpy Dan McGinty & his portly Grog Hog, or a super handy paint brush holder. Just to be clear: we don’t judge here. We totally get that people either love to paint or not so much so we encourage folks to paint ‘em up if they want or play them as-is.
Full Set of 10mm Polyhedral Dice - Metallic Dice Games
We were wowed by the Stardust Volcano design of these mini dice. Plus, they’re a bit smaller so are perfect as a travel set. The clear carrying tube makes it easy to keep the set together in your dice bag.
DC Exclusive - The Cleric’s Cry One-Shot by Dungeon Doodles
This original one-shot adventure was written by our own Dungeon Doodles. It’s set in our world of Halcyon yet can just as easily be placed into your own world. It’s a difficult Level 1 encounter that’s designed for 5E but is easily modified for Pathfinder or any other fantasy RPG platform.
Here’s what the party is in for: Word has spread of a trapped hero, bound by darkness in an abandoned church. Can your party survive long enough to save the hero?
DC Exclusive - Cultist of Nayew Stat Card
This illustrated card offers 5E stats and a full-color, original image so you know just what kind of cultists you’re dealing with. The card is a perfect complement to our Cleric’s Cry one-shot or any other fantasy RPG.
DC Exclusive - Nayew’s Nail Stat Card
This rare weapon is imbued with life-stealing energy. Great if it’s in your hands, not so much if it belongs to your enemies. This illustrated card offers 5E stats and a full-color, original image. Again, it fits into our Cleric’s Cry one-shot or any other fantasy RPG.

Dig deeper into our world of Halcyon by learning about the origin of Halcyon and its gods as culled from the mind of our own Floyd Cocklin. Everyone at DC HQ is exploring and learning about Halcyon right along with you. It’s our shared sandbox world and we love hearing the adventures and campaigns our members have built inside it!
